Quantcast, a service that lets anyone check stats and audience information about websites, announced this morning that it has raised $27.5 million in fresh funding from Cisco Systems and others.
The company, whose competitors include services like Compete and Alexa, says it will use the funding primarily to expand its ad platform.
The round was co-led by Polaris Venture Partners. Founders Fund and Revolution Ventures also participated.
