SAS A2010 Analytics Conference, Sep 2-3, Copenhagen

CARY, NC (Jul. 12, 2010) - As organizations face increasingly diverse issues, growing regulations and global competition, analytical practitioners are challenged to deliver answers. SAS, the leader in business analytics software and services, hosts A2010 Sept. 2-3 in Copenhagen. Industry experts, thought leaders and practitioners will gather to explore critical areas of analytics, including data mining, text mining, forecasting, optimization, statistical analysis and data visualization. Offerings include 11 hands-on, pre-conference, technical training courses. A reception at Copenhagen City Hall and a guided tour around Copenhagen Harbor, inside Rosenborg Castle, or through Copenhagen's old streets will welcome attendees on Sept. 1.

This year's conference program includes five keynotes, 21 papers on three tracks, SAS� Analytics demos, and sponsor booths in the exhibition hall. Keynotes will be presented by Bart Baesens of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium) and University of Southampton (UK); Radhika Kulkarni, Vice President of Advanced Analytics R&D at SAS (US); Sven F. Crone of the Lancaster University Management School and Lancaster Research Centre for Forecasting (UK); Kim Larsen of Charles Schwab & Co. (US); and Dag Roll-Hansen and Kristian L�n� of Statistics Norway.
