Higher ed researchers will soon be able to access SAS Enterprise Miner and Forecast Server for free through SAS OnDemand for Academic, joining professors and students who were able to use SAS in coursework for free for over a year.
Higher ed researchers will soon be able to access SAS analytics software for free through SAS OnDemand for Academics. Professors and students have been able to use SAS in coursework for free for over a year, but this is the first time the same access has been offered for research.
SAS OnDemand for Academics provides an online delivery model for teaching and learning data management and analytics. By connecting to a SAS-hosted server over the Web, users access the analytical power of SAS software through a user-friendly, point-and-click interface.

- SAS® OnDemand for Academics: Enterprise Miner™
- SAS® OnDemand for Academics: Forecast Server (Beta stage)
