CensusViewer includes the Census 2000 and Census 2010 Race and Latino data sets (Summary File 1). In total it includes four datasets of more than 100 million records each. With CensusViewer anyone can navigate the data inside of Bing Maps, filter the data by any of the criteria and create image overlays or heat maps. All regular Bing Maps commands are available and you can view the data at any zoom level over maps or satellite imagery. Selecting the data for a particular ethnic group or a county is as easy as placing a checkmark. CensusViewer includes boundary lines for states, counties and cities as well as many voting districts.
With CensusViewer you can easily export any selection of the data into spreadsheets with just a few mouse clicks. For instance, you can generate a spreadsheet that compares the Latino population per county in a state for all minors in seconds. CensusViewer is available in both a free and a paid subscription version. The subscription version includes additional functionality such as the ability to create and export spreadsheets and download data on a census-block level.
