The Feb 22 Colbert Report talks about Target predictive analytics (recently covered in The New York Times: How Companies Learn Your Secrets) which can identify that a woman is pregnant just from changes in her buying behavior. Is it effective analytics or is it too creepy?
I think it is probably the first time that Colbert covered Predictive Analytics
By using predictive analytics, Target doesn't just track when customers buy sheets, they know what customers are doing between the sheets. (06:05)
