GATE is an open-source text mining framework and a set of free multi-lingual text mining components, including named entity recognition, information extraction, and sentiment analysis.
The 5th GATE (General Architecture for Text Engineering) training course will be held
18-22 June 2012
at the
University of Sheffield, UK.
GATE is an open-source text mining framework and a set of free
multi-lingual text mining components, including named entity
recognition, information extraction, ontologies, sentiment analysis,
other diverse text mining tools.
GATE has been used successfully by companies wishing to unlock the value
of their unstructured content and turn that into quantitative data.
Example vertical domains are patent analysis, financial risk management,
IT operational risk, and health and safety compliance.
