Halim Abbas has been on the Research Staff at Carleton University, a Software Designer at Nortel Networks, the Machine Learning Research Scientist at a couple of successful start-ups, a Senior Research Scientist at eBay, and a Principal Data Scientist at Think Big, A Teradata Company. Today, he’s working on an app for screening for autism and other developmental disorders among young children based on close to 300,000 questionnaires at Cognoa.
