Sr. Lecturer/Associate Professor In Data Mining And Machine Learning

The Advanced Analytics Institute (AAI) undertakes pioneering and applied research essential for Australia's futures ranging from developing algorithms, models, methods, solutions and systems for advanced analytics and decision-making of customers, behaviors, online and social media, multimedia, risk, marketing related business and applications.

The AAI is seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor. You will join an active, vibrant and friendly Institute with a track record in cutting-edge, cross-disciplinary and workable research and development on advanced data mining and machine learning. The AAI has developed valuable research, built consulting and commercial links with leading organisations and industries in Australia and is connected to two major University Research Centres in Faculty of Engineering and IT and Faculty of Business.

The successful candidate will hold a PhD or equivalent in Computer Science or a closely related field as well as have a strong background in data mining, machine learning, and statistics. The successful applicant/s will also be supervising higher degree research students as well as collaborating with leading industry organizations.

Based close to Central Station UTS is at the hub of the transport network, whilst offering easy access to the City and its facilities.

*Salary range:*

• Associate Professor: $118,010 to $ 125,670 per annum
• Senior Lecturer: $97,906 to $ 109,396 per annum
