Post-doctoral opening in Healthcare Analytics

          

help build a centralized database of medical records of rare disease patients; responsible for designing the EMR and also for advanced analytics for better patient management and outcome.

The Center for Rare and Neglected Diseases (CRND) and the Interdisciplinary Center for Network Science and Applications (iCeNSA) at University of Notre Dame have an opening for a post-doc to help build a centralized database of medical records of rare disease patients. The post-doc will be responsible for not only designing the EMR but also for advanced analytics for better patient management and outcome, including rare disease drugs, therapeutics, and treatments.

The post-doc should have a PhD in computer science with expertise in databases and data mining, and ideally having worked in healthcare informatics domain. The post-doc will be jointly supervised by Prof. Nitesh Chawla and Prof. Kasturi Haldar.
