Asst/Assoc. Professors in Analytics

The School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences of the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, invites applications for tenure track faculty positions in the Division of Mathematical Sciences:

Tenure Track Assistant / Associate Professors in Analytics

Candidates with Ph.D degrees in (Applied) Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Econometrics, Operations Research, and related fields are invited to apply. Evidence of excellence in research and teaching are also required. We are specifically looking for expertise in the following areas:

• Data mining of huge data sets
• Statistics
• Traffic management, transport, routing and scheduling

Successful applicants are expected to maintain an active program of research, to seek out and participate in industrial collaborations, to attract and supervise graduate students in the new Masters of Analytics program, and to participate in undergraduate and graduate teaching. The salary will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. Successful candidate will be offered an initial contract period of 3 years and is expected to assume duty as soon as possible.
