The Information and Decision Sciences department offers courses and conducts research in information systems, operations management and business statistics. Programs include undergraduate IDS major and minors in MIS, Operations Management, Business Analytics, a Masters in MIS, and active doctoral programs in MIS and in Business Statistics. The position(s) will encompass research and teaching of undergraduate, MS-MIS, and MBA courses.

A Ph.D. in information systems, computer/information science, operations management, statistics, management science or closely related area, completed or near completion, is required together with a strong potential for quality research and teaching. Applicants as the Associate or Full Professor level must have an excellent record of teaching and scholarly research activity consistent with senior-level faculty appointment.

Preference is for candidates with strong commitment to research in business analytics, data/text mining, or large data approaches for research, and interest in one or more related areas like business intelligence, social media, e-business, supply chain, risk management, health informatics.
