We are hiring analysts who can explore the frontier beyond what our automated models are delivering and identify new tactics, features, and market dynamics that impact our performance in delivering great results for customers like BMW, Skype, and Disney.

The role includes both "inbound" work doing behind-the-scenes studies on the impact of adjusting our bidding or delivery tactics plus "outbound" work analyzing campaign performance and presenting to customers (primarily their agency media buying teams). It's a role that calls for a well-rounded athlete who can switch from constructing a hairy 30-line SQL query one minute to being on the phone with a customer the next.

Job Functions:

• Partner with account managers and traffickers daily to monitor and track campaign performance
• Analyze metrics to understand campaign performance and opportunities for optimization
• Work with marketing science team to design experiments and deploy new automated systems
• Analyze network-wide performance to understand value provided by publishers and data providers
• Write SQL queries as necessary to evaluate both campaign and network-wide performance along multiple dimensions
• Generate actionable campaign insights for clients and package as a Powerpoint deliverable.

• 3+ years experience online campaign analysis experience
• Demonstrable ability to leverage quantitative, scientific, diagnostic thinking to manage campaign success
• Professional oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and excel in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Passion for online advertising media and understanding of how consumers interact with display advertising
• Black-belt in Excel & pivot tables, strong analytical SQL (left outer joins)
• Technical acumen to understand how to design campaigns that optimize the use of our tech platform
• Reliable, with high attention to detail where it matters

• Business/Stats/CompSci background, MS or MBA
• Quick learner, can pick up new tools for reporting & analysis
• Good communicator, can work with an engineering team to build features you need
• Eagerness to work in a start-up team environment that will be rapidly changing
• Willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done
