HP Labs China is now seeking global top talents to fill its two open Research positions. HP Labs is the company's central research organization with a mission in delivering breakthrough technologies and technology advancements that provide a competitive advantage for HP, by investing in fundamental science and technology in areas of interest to HP.

HP Labs China is focused in the web and rich content technology to help users to turn data on the web and in organizations into valuable information. The research areas of interest include data intensive computing, large scale data management, data mining, high performance computing, web structure and usage mining, content classification and clustering, information extraction, video understanding and processing.

Candidates are expected to hold a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science with a solid background and a strong publication record in a research field related to the aforementioned areas. An ideal candidate is one who has an extended independent research experience in the relevant areas.
