Our Research Division, based in La Jonction, is looking for a Senior Scientist - Knowledge Discovery & Data Mining whose mission will start with a 2 years project in our headquarters in Geneva. The purpose of this job is to undertake data mining activities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Key player and contributor to a research program team
  • Consolidate large quantities of data in various fields
  • Creation of various models based on advanced data mining approaches
  • Challenge results with scientists and business for constant improvement
  • Close collaboration with development teams for implementing results in expert systems
  • Constantly interacts with key people to understand working environment
  • Lead all data mining activities for the department
  • Works in close collaboration with scientists
Profile:
  • University degree in Science or Engineering preferably in Computer Science or Statistics
  • At least 5 year experience in data mining
  • Confirmed experience in large data manipulation
  • Curious, open-minded with excellent communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate cross-functional communication
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to take initiative, manage changing priorities and work independently
  • Ability to work well within a project team
  • Sound knowledge of English. French is a plus
