We are seeking an experienced Email Marketing Manager/Director to help expand our company to the next level by further monetizing our extensive email lists generated through our lead generation methods. An Email Marketing Manager will play a key role in the ongoing success of our lead generation program. (S)he will be responsible for the revenue associated with internal and external email marketing efforts, optimization of secondary (cross-sell) offers, as well as data/list management strategy. You will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with email marketing and platform companies, as well as, other lead generation providers. Success will be measured by your ability to grow existing revenue from the aforementioned initiatives. This role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer of LeadClick Media.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the internal email/newsletter, data/list management strategy, execution and best practices.
  • Manage the design, customer segmentation, messaging, analytics and test-and-learn strategies for all email marketing communications
  • Create and implement proper tracking codes for analyzing email delivery, email metrics and segment performance. Use web analytics to study customer email behavior and recommend improvements.
  • Monitor internal testing results and industry best practices. Integrate findings to ensure optimal email results, improved deliverability, and permission-based marketing compliance.
  • Build and foster relationships with technology vendors, data/list providers and internal constituents.
  • Responsible for email campaign requests and setups, email campaign execution, report building, etc.
  • Manage all escalations and/or service delivery issues through to resolution
  • Ability to negotiate, close and execute contracts with email platform, data providers, as well as advertisers.
  • Responsible for accurate tracking and reporting of revenue and costs. Communicate results and provide/implement improvement recommendations.
  • Work closely with the product (vertical) managers, creative and engineering teams.
Qualifications:
  • B.S. Computer Science, B.A. Mathematics, B.A. Economics, Finance, or Quantitative Discipline preferred
  • 5+ years email marketing, data/list management experience in online marketing/media company
  • Comfortable with various media pricing models such as CPL/CPA, CPM, CPC, CPV, Rev Share.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities; ability to extract, dissect, analyze large datasets
  • Thorough understanding and background in email campaigns platforms and techniques
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and comfort with web based competitive intelligence tools
  • Proficient HTML/PHP
  • A can-do attitude and very strong initiative is required
  • Must be able to multi-task
