We are seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join Turiya's rapidly growing Predictive Analytics team. Turiya's Predictive Analytics team consists of seasoned algorithmic experts with deep expertise in mathematical modeling, semantic processing, and machine learning. You will drive all facets of the data mining and predictive analysis, including the collection, normalization, and subsequent analysis of the large volume of data required for this process. This role requires the individual who wants to be thrown right in the deep end, and immediately begin working with real data to solve mission critical problems for leading customers in one of the hottest areas of technology.

What you'll do:

• Own the process for predictive analytics: understand the customer needs and requirements, translate the requirements into analyzable models, and build those models into a product for customer use
• Utilize proven methods for predictive analysis applied to game data
• Develop and apply new methods for data analysis when necessary
• Interact with customers to understand their requirements and data
• Organize and coordinate the team of analytics engineers

• Passion for data analytics and the desire to lead a team of engineers
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in computer science, statistics, or applied mathematics
• Demonstrable experience in machine learning, statistical analysis, and mathematical modeling
• Experience with statistical packages such as Matlab, Weka, or R
• Strong software engineering background
• Ability to independently develop and implement analytical methods
• Experience with relational databases and/or Hadoop/HBase/Hive
• Comfort with both analytical and creative problem solving
• Excellent communication skills to develop intellectual property such as papers and patents
• Previous startup experience preferred
• Background or prior experience in online gaming is a plus
