Skills
Required Experience:
- PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field, with 1-2 years experience in data mining, quantitative analysis, statistical modeling, machine learning, or other relevant field; 3-5 years experience plus MS.
Preferred Experience:
- System/kernel level programming, multithreading, task switching, deadlocks, and resource management issues ?
- Software development processes and multiple successes taking enterprise-scale projects from inception to deployment
- Applying data mining techniques, machine learning, user modeling, information retrieval, game theory, statistics and statistical models. 5+ years practical experience, 7+ years are preferred.
- Proficient programming skills (Linux/UNIX, RDBMS, such as Oracle, MS SQL Server and MySQL)?
- Extensive experience with the following: Hadoop, Hbase, Pig or Mapreduce, Sawzall and Bigtable ?

- Ability to function as a entrepreneur and work under aggressive deadlines
- Excellent research and troubleshooting skills
- Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
