Job Description:

The Enterprise Lab consultant will work to develop, market and implement innovative solutions which change how information is used by organizations for insight and for driving outcomes. The candidate will be expected to contribute to the group's ongoing efforts in thought leadership, ideation, solution architecture, business case development and technology evaluation. The candidate should establish themselves as experts in one or more of the core technologies relevant to our asset development work. The consultant will lead small teams to deliver projects on time and on budget. The work is typically a mix of internal asset development projects, and client-facing prototype implementation of our assets.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience in relationship database management systems (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, Postgre)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or similar technical degree required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in programming and software architecture in one or more of the following: MATLAB, SAS, SPSS, Python, R, C++ or C#, Java, J2EE
• Minimum 1 year experience with database technology (mining, modeling) and/or business and statistical software such as SAS, SPSS, STATA, R and MATLAB

• Experience in Mashups web development strongly preferred
• Have experience with CEP (complex event processing) Experience with Microsoft technologies and .NET capabilities, Sharepoint, etc
• Working knowledge of predictive analytics
• Experience in technical architecture (SOA-(service oriented architecture) and/or BPM - Business Process Management) strongly preferred
• A desire to create business applications out of new technologies
• Understanding of technical architectures and the current state of the technology market in several technology areas
• Lead, coordination or participation in organizations and teams

• Desire to work with emerging data platforms
• Experience in managing own and other's work effort including time management, estimation, completion, issue identification & resolution, and status reporting
• Desire to work in an R&D environment.
• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Base ability to establish credibility with clients and other team members
• Able to exhibit ownership, initiation, and incubation of new ideas and concepts on projects
• Proven experience working on an effort to a tangible outcome that can be measured in time and money
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
