CMR Platform Development Manager

The Customer Managed Relationship or CMR organization is responsible for developing an overall customer centric relationship strategy at a one to one level with a goal to help Guests create the most magical vacation experience possible. To accomplish this objective CMR is able to draw on the inherent strengths of a world class; brand, cast, product and experiences in a highly emotional way. The CMR team collects key information about current and potential guests in both a fun and entertaining way as well as through traditional guest contact points like the Call Center or on our Web site. This knowledge is then used across the entire Parks and Resorts division to make as many interactions as relevant as possible. Ultimately, the goal is to develop a lifelong relationship with the guest on their terms.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage all aspects of Line of Business (LOB) technology integration as it relates to CMR initiatives, including partnerships with Disney's Wide World of Sports (WWOS), Disney Photo Imaging (DPI), and Disney Parks Merchandise. Key areas of focus include project management responsibility across our LOB initiatives, as well as active technical development with WWOS data integration, marketing tactic development, program reporting, and descriptive analytics projects. Utilize SAS and SQL technologies on a daily basis in concert with traditional CMR technical project management skills to build and sustain technical platform and systems solutions for our LOB partners. This role will have direct reports, and require a strong blend between business, technology, and strategic skill areas.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
(These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for the job.)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably with some degree of focus in technology/IT
  • Proven project management experience with database marketing and data mart initiatives
  • Experience with marketing campaign management, campaign reporting & descriptive analytics
  • Thorough understanding of data integration and data quality principles
  • Familiarity with the SAS BI Suite, Oracle 10g and Teradata 12 platforms
  • Proven SAS and/or SQL programming experience against relational databases and other disparate sources of information
  • Strong partnering, communication, and team building skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
  • Direct experience leading a CMR or Database Marketing technical team
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • MBA and/or Master's degree or equivalent, preferably with some degree of focus in technology/IT
  • Knowledge of the online merchandise industry, Disney Merchandise product base, and online sales applications
  • Willingness to learn new software applications
  • Strong networking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to design, architect, and deliver Marketing Data Mart solutions
