Pre-Sales Engineer in Predictive Analytics

Predixion Software Inc., an early-stage predictive analytics software developer, is building the next generation of self-service predictive analytics solutions. We are in the hunt for a hands-on professional that is passionate about closing deals and making a significant contribution to the growth of a dynamic organization.

We are looking for a pre-sales expert to join our team of industry veterans and development rockstars to help close large enterprise accounts. To be successful you will have experience building customer specific demonstrations, proof-of concepts and providing implementation services to kick off projects -- with and without our consulting partners with and will understand the aspects of a complete sales cycle. You will be a Microsoft BI expert with an understanding of data mining, have .Net/C# knowledge and some development experience, preferably writing code to integrate MS SQL Server and SQL Server Analysis Services into solutions for customers.

Responsibilities Include:

• Becoming an expert in the functionality of Predixion's cloud-based and enterprise offerings
• Developing predictive models with our toolset for different industries (financial services, healthcare, manufacturing etc)
• Developing end-to- end demonstrations and proof-of-concepts in the BI stack including Sharepoint, PowerPivot and Analysis Services
• Integrating solutions to proprietary customer systems to show the power of predictive analytics

• Advanced degree in math, statistics, engineering, computer science or a related field
• Significant experience with Microsoft BI
• Some experience with data mining (preferably Microsoft but can be SAS, SPSS or comparable)
• Experience developing predictive models for various industries and horizontal applications
• Strong interpersonal and demonstration skills
• Strong enterprise software sales experience
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a startup environment
