We are a leading reputation management firm consulting at board level with FTSE100-type companies. We have an entrepreneurial team which has generated significant success, but it now is in need of strong management.

Candidates will have five + years' experience in a text-mining environment, including responsibility for management, and in technology executive roles for at least 10 years.

The post holder will manage all operational and strategic aspects of the division, reporting directly into the company's CEO. At an operational level, the post holder will manage a team of four people, participate in creation of work and ensure that all client deliverables are delivered on time and to budget, always striving to exceed client expectations.

At a strategic level, the candidate will be responsible for developing the vision for the application of our services (Markets, products), as well as their extension into new areas. This will include reviewing technological and human requirements to manage growth effectively.

• Ten years experience in technology businesses
• Five + years experience in text mining industries
• Experience of management
• Degree in business information systems or information management systems
• Knowledge of information structuring languages (XML, etc.), natural-language processing techniques, and scripting languages (Perl, Python, etc.)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strategic business outlook
