Through collaboration and feedback, you will engage in the planning, development and presentation of annual trade plans for top customers by channel of distribution, determining the ROI, sales lifts and cost of doing business by customer/channel. You will be responsible to conduct post event sales analysis to determine success of programs and opportunities for improvement.
You have worked with an OTC or CPG company doing hands-on analytics and like to roll up your sleeves, think independently and add clarity to the information available.
You have 3-5 years of CPG analytical and project management experience working with cross-functional business and retail teams and are looking for a growing CPG company where you can make strong contributions to its development and success.

Senior Analyst - Sales & Trade Marketing

Candidate will be responsible for:
1) Managing the pre-sell materials, forecast, & tracking of current and new items and promotional or display programs.
- Develop and refine the sales tracking process (including development of yearly timeline, formats, written overview of process and frequency) of new items, bonus packs and display allocations and sell-through, etc., to ensure summaries provide a business perspective are communicated on a timely basis to our customers (Senior Management, Brand Group, Field Sales, etc.).
- Providing administrative support including sales and marketing documents various maintenance tasks.
2) Leading the weekly and monthly update of various shipment & IRI scorecards / dashboards to keep an ongoing pulse of the business and competitive position, while proactively analyzing the business for new opportunities.
- Managing internal and external sources of data to provide actionable insights to drive the business.
- Working with national brokers reporting and recording sales performance data.
- Excellence in analysis, interpretation of data, reporting and ability to translate into action-oriented recommendations and presentations.
3) Analyzing the post event performance to determine ROIs and provide insights to improve promotional and new item launches
- Working with retail accounts regarding trade and promotional budgets.
- Tracking advertising assets and performance.
- Tracking and accounting for CO-OP budgets and sales lift.
- Good financial skill set is required with experience in a basic understanding of brand P&L's, ROI, margin and budget management
