Statement of purpose
Architect and develop analytical products at 24/7 Customer Innovation Labs
Minimum requirements (Education Qualification & Work Experience)
- MS/PhD from a reputed institution
- Field of graduate education - Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering
- Strong academic record
- 7-15 years of experience in the field of Advanced statistics, data mining and text mining preferably working in a product organization (e.g. Yahoo, Google, Microsoft etc.)
Competency Requirements: [Technical & Behavioral]
- Passion and deep technical competency in quantitative methods and/or business analytics
- Experience with techniques such as Data mining, Advanced Statistics, Pattern Recognition, Artificial Intelligence, Text mining, weblog mining etc.
- Proven ability to model, prototype, architect and engineer systems requiring specialized knowledge of machine learning, data-mining, text-mining, web mining, Artificial intelligence, pattern recognition, Optimization and Advanced Statistics
- Experience in using open source tools such as R, Weka, GATE, Cluto, Rapid Miner, Lucene
- Hands on experience in model building and coding
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Excellent computation and data management skills. Experience handling voluminous data
- Understanding of marketing science and customer service domains
Job Responsibilities
- Architect products based on data mining and analytical solutions
- Guide and work with engineering teams to develop and deliver these products
- Collaborate with Professional services and Operations for robust implementation
- Provide mentoring and technical leadership to the analytics organization
- Work with Innovation labs (ilabs) leadership to define the product roadmap
- Transform the analytics organizations' technical capabilities from a service mode to enable scalability and "productization" of the solutions
- Generate new ideas that positively impact the customer life cycle management domain - Build IP through innovation
