- Be a key member of the iiA management team.
- Provide thought leadership regarding insurance analytics and predictive modeling.
- Apply your unique insight into our customers, your vision, and your technical expertise to help invent, design, and validate new products and align our current capabilities with unfulfilled needs in the marketplace.
- Lead the market. Be the expert that helps the industry understand how they can implement the powerful analytics iiA offers. You will act as a technical and process consultant, studying customer operations in depth and helping them envision more profitable pricing strategies.
- Engage customers in the opportunity to help us chart their future by joining us as data partners.
- Be our key resource for market intelligence on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Interface with regulatory affairs, legal, and other analytic organizations within the larger ISO organization, as well as state DOIs, to facilitate the approval of iiA's filings.
- Learn about and contribute to our claims analytics, fraud detection, and premium audit initiatives in our P&C, Healthcare, and Mortgage verticals and expand your knowledge of cutting edge technologies like data fusion, high performance computing, and network analytics.
- Be part of the public face of analytics for iiA. Help position iiA as a center of modeling expertise through research, authoring, and presentation. Represent iiA products at industry conferences and professional organizations.
Requirements:
- Graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, or related field; PhD is a plus
- 10+ years predictive modeling experience, 5+ years in a management position with proven ability to design, execute and implement analytics projects that provide demonstrated business benefit
- Deep understanding of the business of insurance and insurance data; significant industry achievements applying advanced predictive analytics to develop insurance rating plans; FCAS required
- Experience working with the states to get complex filings approved a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively intact with all levels of management, clients, and the public
- This position is currently an independent contributor role, but may grow to have a team. Proven ability to successfully build, mentor, and lead a team of analysts a plus
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
