The Modeling Consultant will provide technical and analytical support in a consulting environment.

The job functions include the following:

• Perform SAS data manipulation and analysis programming
• Develop predictive models using multiple statistical techniques
• Present and communicate results to clients
• Provide support and assistance for the implementation of predictive models
• Assistance in financial management of client engagements, project management through utilization of project management tools

• Bachelors Degree (BS or BA)
• 2-8 years of experience with SAS
• 2-8 years of experience in modeling
• At least 2 years of experience in the banking, credit or insurance industry
• Willingness to travel at least 10%
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• Ability to work in the Washington, DC metro area

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent in statistics, actuarial science or related field of study
• 2+ years of data mining and predictive modeling experience
• Extensive knowledge of tools for data mining and statistics (SAS, SPSS, MATLAB)
• Strong knowledge of MS Office products
• Solid statistical understanding
• Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule including overtime

• Advanced degree in statistics, actuarial science, artificial intelligence, or data mining
• Business analytics experience in one or more of the following industries: Banking, Insurance, Consumer Products and Packaged Goods, and Human Resources . Modeling expertise using statistical techniques such as logistic and linear regression, decision trees, neural network or clustering techniques
• Assistance in financial management of client engagements, project management through utilization of project management tools
