Rocket Fuel is hiring fresh college grads, senior engineers and architects to build and enhance ad-serving, bidding and data infrastructure built using a mix of proprietary and open-source technologies. We are integrated with real time exchanges processing requests @30k qps. Our data is growing fast - 4X in last 3 months, query workload is increasing significantly - 10X in last 3 months. If you are excited about working of tough problems dealing with algorithms & software systems that scale, we would love to talk to you.

Skills

Required:

• B.S./ M.S./PhD in computer science & related fields
• Good understanding of algorithms, data structures, performance optimization techniques, and object-oriented programming
• Experience developing software in one or more of C/C++, Java
• Structured thinker, Effective communicator, Excellent programming and analytic skills

• Experience in server side development of complex systems
• Experience with hadoop/ hive/Pig, MySQL, EC2
• Experience working on advertising systems - display or SEM
