Yandex Labs is looking to fill a full-time Senior Software Engineer position to work on Yandex Search Quality.
We look for experienced and motivated individual contributors, experts with C++, Python, Perl, and distributed high-performance systems.
Requirements:
- Very strong C++ and Python/Perl development skills
- Extensive UNIX software development experience
- Experience designing, developing, and supporting distributed scalable high-performance systems
- Ability to work with large existing code base
- Adaptability to changing requirements and perseverance in achieving goals
- Ability to work hands-on and with little supervision
- Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to other members of the team
- Good communication and team player skills
Pluses:
- experience with web-search
- experience with machine-learning, data-mining, data analysis
- 5+ years of industry experience
