Manager, Data Analysis

This position is responsible for management of the Data Analysis staff and for all activities related to data analysis for the company. Also, this position will allow the individual to showcase one's quantitative skills, business judgment and creative thinking while determining new key metrics and measurement techniques/models that offer deeper business insight.

Responsibilities:

• Establish overall strategy for data analysis department
• Design and develop data analysis scheme for the company
• Analyze complex data structures to generate business insights
• Develop reports to monitor business critical results
• Support the executive members with data consultation, gathering and analysis
• Work with various business functions to identify data mining needs and provide required data solution / analysis.
• Maintain process documentation, gather and write business requirements.
• Communicate with development and operations teams to implement enhancements, fixes and data purges.
• Manage and mentor data analysts and a team of data analysis

• 5-7 years of data analytical and BI tool experience
• At least, 2 year management experience leading multiple, medium to large, cross-functional teams or projects
• BS/BA Degree in Math, Statistics, Business (Masters degree in an analytical field such as Engineering, Math, Statistics is preferred)
• Experience in game industry is strongly preferred.
• Experience with other data extraction and manipulation tools, Data Mining Tools
• Strong understanding of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS)
• SQL - Intermediate to Advanced user
• MS Excel - Intermediate to Advanced user
• Ability to understand and translate marketing and analytic needs into solution and data management requirements
• Knowledge of / experience in creating customer attributes and measures from raw transaction data
• Finely tuned attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple demands
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
• Proven and successful team player
• Ability to work independently
• Experience with customers data management
