POSITION OBJECTIVE
The Marketing Intelligence Analyst will perform analysis and provide strategic insights derived from sales and customer level data that drive critical business decisions. He/she will support ad hoc requests from across the organization that provide critical information required by Senior Management when making tactical and strategic decisions. He/she will also build standard reporting to support the Strategy Development and Planning teams.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer data reporting & analysis
- Provides strategic insights derived from sales, customer level, and tab feature data that drives critical marketing decisions.
- Supports all ad hoc requests for customer data for the many areas of the organization including: Finance, Stores, Marketing, Merchandising, Real Estate, Marketing Research, IS and E-Commerce
- Supports hundreds of requests that provide critical information to Sr. Management when making strategic decisions
- Provides Sr. Management with necessary historical sales data for sales planning purposes.
- Develops streamlined approaches of analytical results into simple, clear reports to increase interpretation application of results.
- Generate daily, weekly and summary reporting and performance insights for the following programs: event performance for tab, including Advertised vs. non-advertised sales, Power Hours, Early Birds, BOGO and like-themed events over time; credit acquisition performance including application, activation, and monthly scorecard reporting; Kohl's charge and MVC events; storewide promotions including Kohl's Cash; and prospect Mail reporting
QUALIFICATIONS
required
- Extensive direct marketing knowledge
- Experience developing database platforms for marketing
preferred
- Extensive campaign management and customer level analytic development experience including significant experience with the following: Unica Affinium Campaign Management System, relational data structures, business objects, SQL, Microstrategy, and Excel.
