Position Objective:
Through the use of Omniture web analytics and other internal tools, the Web Merchandising Intelligence Analyst is responsible for the tracking and reporting of key performance index metrics, and for providing relevant and timely customer experience and purchase behavior analysis and recommendations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide Data Insights
- Analyze customer interactions with Kohls.com at department and divisonal levels utilizing data collected by Omniture and other internal reporting tools.
- Generate daily, weekly and summary reporting and performance insights for key ecommerce strategies, including: Home and Department page advertising; Gift and Seasonal Shops; Brand Stores; Internal Search; Checkout.
- Present analysis and insights to executives and other business stakeholders.
Identify and Develop KPIs and Data Reporting Solutions
- Support ad-hoc requests for site performance and customer engagement data for many areas of the company, including: Ecommerce, Merchandising, Marketing and IS.
- Create both holistic and custom dashboards of KPIs to monitor results across all levels of the website.
Drive Website Improvements through On-Site Testing
- Create and execute A/B tests that drive increased order conversion, reporting on results.
- Create and execute A/B tests that improve the customer experience as measured by engagement with applicable marketing efforts, reporting on results.
Provide Web Analytics Training and Support for the Ecommerce Organization
- Conduct new user training.
- Support ongoing web analytics associate training and development.
- Monitor and report on industry best practices, adapting key learnings to Kohls.com.
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ years in a high-volume eCommerce environment working directly with leading web analytics tools such as Omniture, CoreMetrics or WebTrends
- Ability to effectively break buisiness questions into their key components, identify appropriate data sources and methodology for analysis and translate findings into actionable insights.
- History of success working both independently and as a member of a cross-functional team on multiple concurrent projects.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with the Omniture Marketing Suite, with particular focus on SiteCatalyst, Discover and Test & Target.
- Experience supporting A/B and multi-varient testing on large consumer websites.
- History of effective execution of business enhancements, from conception to delivery.
