Role Summary
The Project Manager requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail as this person will be responsible for updating, tracking and housing the documentation associated with Acquisition Credit Policy and will assist in providing information and documentation for Acquisition Risk Management internal and external audits.
- Perform quality control and validation procedures on all aspects of analysis, reporting, and policy implementation.
- Ensure alignment of acquisition credit policy and New Account procedures and guidelines through thorough review and comparison of the two.
- Improve new account profitability with enhanced decisioning skills and capabilities within the judgmental units.
- Make recommendations to increase productivity and identify opportunities for the effective use of technology.
- Identify and make enhancements to the business's use of internal and external data sources within account management processes.
- Perform data analysis, including data collection and SAS programming to identify acquisition judgmental opportunities.
- Work with other team members on projects, assuming leadership roles on cross-functional teams when required to meet project objectives. Serves as resource to less experienced associates in solving business problems.
- Act as a liaison with business partners in intra-departmental projects and presents findings to management and business partners.
This person will be responsible for researching issues related to acquisition credit policy, including Executive and FDIC complaints and other compliance matters.
This person will be responsible for ensuring alignment of acquisition credit policy and New Account procedures and guidelines.
This person will assist in improving the decisioning skills and capabilities within the judgmental units and will serve as a subject matter expert on acquisition credit policy for New Account Operations.
This person will assist in the identification and implementation of credit risk strategies and policies for new accounts.
Role requires good communication skills as there will be a high degree of liaison with other business partners notably Acquisition Marketing and New Accounts Operations and a need to present research and recommendations in an effective manner.
Requirements
2 years, minimum, work experience in the following:
- Strong project management experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on business requirements and the strategic direction of the company; ability to meet deadlines and follow through on the completion of complex, high-profile projects.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to present findings and recommendations to Senior Management.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to solving and mitigating problems.
- A high level of inquisitiveness, initiative and critical thinking required to formulate business issues into analytical problems and devise actionable solutions.
- Ability to deliver results in a deadline driven environment while working under own initiative
- Proficiency with statistical software and other analytical tools, including SAS and MS Excel.
