Job Description

Responsibilities:

• own design and development of the recommendation engine at Chomp
• any other personalization of user facing "home screen" feeds of recommended apps and 'users to follow' that include machine learning
• stay aware of state of the art research, including conference attendance

• experience implementing a recommendation systems in a production environment essential
• strong Java skills essential
• experience with Hadoop highly desirable
• familiarity with Amazon Web Services a bonus
