Commonwealth Computer Research, Inc. is looking for software and systems engineers to join its team. An active security clearance and Linux / Unix experience are desirable but not required. This position is only open to US citizens.

Qualified candidates will have experience developing in a modern programming language such as Java, C++, Python, Groovy, Scala, or Ruby and knowledge or interest in one or more of the following areas:

Statistical computing and analytical modeling: R, Matlab, Data Mining, Predictive Modeling, Machine Learning

Enterprise Java Development: Java EE, Spring, REST web services, Hibernate / JPA

Cloud computing: Hadoop, Map-Reduce, NoSql, Hbase

Databases: PostgreSQL, MySql, Oracle

GIS: Geoserver, PostGIS, OpenLayers, Quantum GIS, ArcGIS

Web Development: Javascript, AJAX, CSS, ExtJS
