POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of Analytics is responsible for ensuring The Children's Place has best-in-class analytics, measurement, and data strategies to inform business initiatives focused on enhancing the overall customer experience.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Lead the design and development of analytical projects designed to understand key business behaviors such as customer acquisition, retention, and engagement, lifetime value, drivers of loyalty, etc.
- Manage and lead advanced analyses to assess relationships and patterns within customer data, and create tools which can be leveraged to build actionable strategies
- Guide continuous innovation and creation of new measurement solutions to accelerate learning
- Direct development and integration of advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and offer optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement decision support strategies -- aligning resources from marketing, technology, membership, eCommerce, and external analytics and technology partners
- Direct the development and infusion of advanced measurement capabilities across the enterprise to accelerate the test-learn-modify cycle
- Attract, develop and retain the best talent to the team
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- B.S. in quantitative statistics, mathematics, economics, or related field, advanced degree a plus
- Minimum of 8 years business experience in marketing analysis or analytics consulting leadership
- Expertise in CRM, loyalty marketing, or other customer-centric environments
- Experience managing teams and cross-functional partner relationships
- Experience in analytic techniques applied to customer valuation, marketing ROI, design of experiment, and segmentation
SKILLS:
- Excellent oral and communication skills
- Able to manage projects to deadlines in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail a must
- Retail experience a plus
