Position Description - Director of Analytics Solutions
We are seeking a strong predictive analytics architect who can perform both pre-sales engineering and post-sales engineering services. Responsible for designing, modeling, developing and supporting enterprise scale predictive analytics solutions, including schema design, operational and analytic flow. The role requires a high degree of skill in knowledge transfer to customers and partners so they can be self-sufficient with our products.

Requirements

• Strong client-facing skills including ability to capture requirements, to clearly document mutual understanding of the problem, to drive customer engagement and to clearly communicate results in both written and oral presentations, including demonstrating the solution with predictive analytics and BI software.
• Performs predictive analytics using industry standard statistical techniques to perform forecasting and other predictive modeling using analytical software, and with data mining, using a variety of techniques.
• Performs database development, data validation, and statistical analysis of data sets to build models and perform multivariate analysis.
• Gathers, analyzes, and normalizes relevant information related to and from business processes, functions, and operations to evaluate data credibility and determine relevance and meaning.
• Designs overall data architecture and applications to support the predictive analytics requirements for customer installations.-
• Leads and participates in customer and/or partner teams for implementing automated processes for integrating analytical data applications into the enterprise.
• Develops and delivers standard or customized strategic, senior-level solution demonstrations and presentations outlining the functional capabilities, competitive advantages and business benefits of the Predixion Insight solutions as they apply to customer needs.
• Assists with development of training materials for partners and customers.
• Assists sales team with responses to RFI/RFPs and developing demonstrable material to support these efforts.

• 5 or more years of IT work experience in transactional or analytical database application design, development, administration, and support of relevant computing environments
• 1 or more years in predictive analytics, data mining, machine learning, or CRISP-DM model lifecycle preferred
• Knowledge of application of predictive analytics to real world business problems such as fraud detection, forecasting, targeted marketing tactics, shopping basket analysis, etc. preferred.
• Architect / senior developer experience with Microsoft BI technologies ( SSAS/Analysis Services, SSRS/ Reporting Services and SSIS/Integration Services)
• Project and technical management experience, preferably of business intelligence platform development projects.
• Mastery-level technical and business expertise in multiple disciplines/processes.
• Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to senior management/ executive level audiences
