Primary Responsibilities
  • The VP of Audience Research and Development for True North Custom Media will work in conjunction with the Executive Leadership Team to provide insight regarding audience trends, sustainability, strategy, and execution for all digital and print media. The position reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and will lead all consumer and business-to-business audience research, acquisition, and management functions in support of the organizational mission/vision.
  • The Vice President of Audience Research and Development will be responsible for overseeing the acquisition of audience insights and analysis at TNCM. This includes the management of client mailing lists and other data sets, maintaining relationships with BPA and other auditing agencies, and collaborating with the marketing, sales, and research departments in the development of new print and digital products and packages.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in Business Administration or relevant work history. MBA preferred.

Ten years of business-to-consumer (B2C) or business-to-business (B2B) subscription-based goods experience required. Media, CPG, or similar industry is required.

Previous experience in digital, finance (ex: credit cards), e-commerce, or telecom space dealing with backend project management, data, and demographic/psychographic databases is beneficial. We would expect rich experiences for customer segmentation and acquisition and a strong research, data, and digital marketing background.

The candidate should demonstrate the ability to manage diverse groups, as well as clearly communicate strategy at a department level and participate in strategy development and execution at the executive level.

We expect this executive to be strategic, creative, collaborative, and highly organized and be able to act quickly in complex situations. The candidate should be resourceful and able to leverage the current business model and assets for unique marketplace opportunities. The candidate should also be very analytical with a metrics-orientation to make data-driven decisions.
