About The Position
We are seeking an exceptional Data Scientist to join a rapidly growing team that is applying big data and advanced analytics to help Intuit create compelling new products. The team is a multi-disciplinary mix of data scientists, product managers, and software engineers. The environment blends the best aspects of an established company and a start-up. Data is abundant. The Data Scientist will drive the creation of production software that leverages big data and advanced analytics in innovative ways. This includes translating business requirements into technical terms, conducting advanced data analysis, designing algorithms, and contributing to the implementation of software that embodies those algorithms. Competitive candidates will have a solid grounding in math, statistics, machine learning, R, Linux, and Java, with additional credit for Hadoop or UI experience. The position is in Mountain View, California.
