Stroll has an opening in its Center City offices for a Database Marketing Analyst to join our dynamic Marketing Analytics team. The Database Marketing Analyst will report directly to the Director of Analytics and will be primarily responsible for delivering effective marketing analyses and business intelligence to the company. As a key contributor to the decision-making team, the Database Marketing Analyst will leverage an internal customer database to transform complex data into actionable business strategies that drive the company's bottom line. Candidates for this position will be assessed upon their analytical skills, self-reliance, general business acumen and leadership ability.
Qualifications:
"Hard" Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a direct-to-consumer and data-driven business environment
- Bachelor's Degree required (Marketing, Business, Economics strongly preferred)
- Proficient in Transact-SQL query writing (proficiency in Microsoft SQL/Server Reporting Services a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access
- SAS, SPSS or other statistical software experience a plus
- Experience with web analytics tools such as Webtrends or Omniture SiteCatalyst a plus
"Soft" Qualifications
- Strong business acumen, with comprehensive knowledge and experience with LTV and ROI concepts
- Fluent in corporate P&L structure
- Ability to translate analytical results into profit-maximizing business successes
- Superior verbal and written communication ability with strong business presentation skills

- Detail oriented with the ability to accurately analyze large datasets and complex processes

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the production of monthly, quarterly and yearly sales planning by delivering timely key performance indicators and providing supporting business insights
- Analyze, maintain and regularly report on customer LTV trends for all Marketing campaigns
- Develop, maintain and deliver data-driven reporting using SQL and Microsoft Excel
- Utilize and execute data and data mining techniques to uncover strategic opportunities for the Marketing department and company as a whole
- Assist in the development of corporate and marketing strategies by providing business insight gleaned from analysis
- Develop effective business processes from project results to monetize analytical efforts
- Leverage available data sources and tools to solve common business problems that may occur in the areas of Marketing, IT, Finance, Fulfillment and the Call Center.
- Measure, evaluate and present forecasting metrics to support customer acquisition efforts for email, paid search and banner advertisements.
- Lead or work within cross-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, Fulfillment, Call Center) providing analytical guidance and solutions.
