GIS Principal Analyst (ERSI ArcGIS)

They are seeking an ESRI ArcGIS developer responsible to design and develop geospatial solutions. Play an integral role within an analytic team to develop GIS-based maps from a variety of data sources and perform analysis on spatial data in support of targeting needs and other predictive modeling efforts for clients. Work with other team members and with the customer to help define the mapping requirements that best address client needs.

Responsibilities:

• Produce maps using proper cartographic principles from raw spatial data sources
• Work with users to define user requirements and specifications
• Perform spatial overlays various data sources
• Create cartographical and digital data products
• Glean actionable insights using spatial analytic techniques
• Create spatial data elements to be utilized by statistical models
• Import/Export data with statistical software tools

• 5+ years experience in Geographic Information Systems
• 2+ years experience using ERSI ArcGIS suite
• 2+ years experience design and implementation skills (KML, shapefiles, XML, JavaScript, HTML)
• GIS or related degree/certification
• Proficiency using the ArcGIS suite of products (ArcMap, ArcCatalog, and ArcToolBox, etc.)
• Proficient use of ESRI extensions for advanced spatial analysis and modeling
• Familiarity with Microsoft Bing Maps and Google Earth
• Excellent spatial analytic skills
• .NET/C# development experience a plus
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office product suite
• SAS or SQL programming experience a plus
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
