Manager, Client Analytics

The successful candidate will use their data mining/predictive analytic skills to determine new and emerging trends on the needs of our clients, collaborating with subject matter experts throughout the firm to determine future service and product offerings. This work will elevate the level of analysis provided to leadership, enhance advisor training in the field and will make an impact on our ability to meet the needs of our clients. Experience using enterprise data mining software and developing sophisticated algorithms (i.e. boosted trees, neural networks, logistic regression) is required.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Lead the development of statistical modeling efforts in support of data-driven strategies that help Financial Advisors create new clients, retain existing clients and deepen their relationships with existing clients.
  • Improve program performance tools for analysis of client list performance, channel mix components, marketing touch/contact performance and expense-to-revenue results.
  • Assist in the creation, development and management of client optimization and simulation models.
  • Ensure data quality, usability and security.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ years industry experience with successful track record in marketing, database and analytics management. Ideal candidate will have 5+ years professional experience with predictive statistical models, and working with typical data used in such analyses.
  • Strong knowledge of econometric, data mining, neural network and other clustering and data reduction techniques.
  • Ability to translate data into meaningful value propositions for clients in order to facilitate understanding. Provide accurate and actionable business intelligence reporting.
  • Create models using demographic and transactional data and interactive relationships among data elements.
  • Proficiency in SQL as well as general knowledge of relational database technology
  • Hands-on direct marketing campaign experience within Marketing environment
  • Experience with marketing automation and business intelligence tools (such as Oracle, SPSS, Brio), in support of pre-campaign and post-campaign analysis, a plus.
  • B.A./B.S. required; M.S. or MBA preferred
This position will require the ability to:
  • Examine complex data points,
  • Analyze them through statistical methods,
  • Communicate these findings, and
  • Translate these findings into options for actionable tactics.
