We are searching for an experienced software engineer with a strong background in data mining to help develop our Internet advertising optimization technology. An experienced and knowledgeable software engineer will perfectly complement our world-class team. The Senior Data Mining Developer position is responsible for all design and programming efforts around the core data mining and optimization technology used by the OptiMine Bid Management application. This includes:

• Developing data mining and optimization processes around existing libraries
• Developing new data mining or optimization libraries as necessary
• Design and testing of new workflows for advertising price optimization problems
• Design and testing of additional input variables to improve model performance

Qualifications:

• 5+ years professional experience applying or programming data mining techniques
• 2+ years C++ programming experience
• 1+ years Java programming experience
• Strong SQL Skills
• Familiar with a Windows/SQLServer development environment
• Comfortable with startups and rapid growth
• Self-starter and a fast-learner
• Propensity for action. No hand-holding here!
