Job Description:
Position responsible for providing insights in support of the Global Marketing Operations and Guest Communication teams related to targeting, segmentation and performance analysis of direct marketing campaigns. Role will be based in Starwood Corporate Headquarters in Stamford, CT.

Essential Functions:
1. Provide insights into targeting and segmentation of direct marketing campaigns. Make recommendations on how to improve future list selections based on analysis of historical performance.
2. Support GMO and GC teams by providing analysis into campaign performance by measuring several key performance indicators including delivery, open, click and opt-out rates. Identify trends in data and communicate findings to stakeholders.
3. Provide analysis on conversions (bookings) generated by marketing campaigns. Associate conversion data with guest response activity, drawing insights into response behavior of guests over time.
4. Provide ad-hoc analysis to various stakeholders and departments throughout the company. Assist in various projects and large scale initiatives within the team as needed.
5. Maintain reporting on performance of Starwood's Permission To Contact processes. Assist in managing opt-out processes, ensuring segmentation adheres to guests' indicated preferences and legal guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Two years+ relevant/analytical experience (hospitality experience preferred).
  • Experience creating reports, analyzing data and communicating findings
  • Strong Excel skills, SQL preferred
  • Knowledge of the Starwood Preferred Guest program and/or experience with Valhalla/ResIV/Starlink or other individual property systems (Fidelio, Galaxy or Opera)
