This is an exciting opportunity to design, implement, and apply state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms to rich and voluminous user behavior and textual data. You will discover actionable insights for improving users' experience with Search through large-scale mining of behavioral data.
Besides possessing rock-solid software engineering skills and a passion for excellence, you will need to be an innovative thinker and a strong communicator. You will need skills in the following areas:
- machine learning and statistical techniques
- experience solving real-world problems with large volumes of data
- algorithm design and analysis
- engineering process, design, development, and testing methodologies
You must have an advanced degree in computer science or equivalent industry experience. Domain expertise in the following areas are pluses:
- exposure to behavioral targeting in a practical setting
- text mining and natural language processing
- information retrieval
- Hadoop/MapReduce and other technologies for processing Big Data
