10+ outstanding machine-learning researchers

GE Global Research is looking for 10+ outstanding machine-learning researchers to work with a world-class multidisciplinary team to develop and deploy scalable predictive, reasoning and data mining algorithms and software for diverse industrial applications, including anomaly detection, diagnostics & prognostics on sensor, video, imagery and text data from Jet engines, Gas Turbines, Locomotives, Healthcare Machines and much more.

As part of our Machine Learning Lab in San Ramon, CA, you will collaborate with senior machine learning researchers in Niskayuna NY, and Bangalore, India. You will provide technical expertise to address supervised and unsupervised learning problems in an applied research environment.

We will depend on you to develop & deploy modern machine learning and statistical methods (CART and Random Forests, clustering and classification algorithms, Bayesian models, neural nets, SVM etc.) for finding patterns/models from industrial data. Familiarity with large data sets, cloud based development and deployment, open source practices and frameworks and experience in putting an intelligent application in production is desirable.
