Scope
Working closely with the high performance computing and the IT manager, develop a data model for complex multi-scale rocks, design and organize a database and develop complex queries for efficient management and mining of very large amounts of data.

Responsibilities
Design and develop methods and techniques for data modeling, integration and management for multi-scale rocks subjected to large-scale scientific computing applications. The position reports to the Senior Manager, Product Development and is located in Houston, TX.

Required skills

• 2+ years of experience in Data Modeling, Data Management, Data Integration and Software Development
• Bachelor/Masters in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or related

• Familiarity with LAMP, Zend PHP application framework, Propel ORM
• Working knowledge of Java/JavaEE/JavaScript or C++ and PHP
• Proficiency in modern software development tools and techniques
• Some familiarity with high-performance computing and scientific applications
