Dow AgroSciences seeks a Statistician to assist in the identification of projects and analyses of business related datasets. This position is located in Indianapolis, IN, USA.

The successful candidate will interact with scientists and business leaders across Dow AgroSciences' business functions. Key job responsibilities will include development and application of statistical algorithms and software to mine business datasets. Topics of interest include manufacturing, supply chain, marketing, purchasing, forecasting, discrete event simulation, monte carlo simulation, optimization, risk analyses, support vector machines, regression, prediction and clustering. Identification of business projects as well as analysis, interpretation and presentation of results is also expected. Strong communication skills are essential along with an ability to collaborate effectively with business partners.

Qualifications
Applicants for this position have a Ph.D. in statistics, applied statistics, operations research or closely related field. Familiarity with applications in business is highly desirable.
