In your role as an IT Specialist (Systems Analysis/Applications Software)
at OCC, you will provide technical support for a SAS grid and expert technical support in all areas and functions associated with OCC systems analysis and applications software. You will support all OCC customers for assigned area of responsibility, including troubleshooting of problems on a daily basis. Inform customers of the direction of department initiatives and provide training as needed. You will manage, install, maintain, monitor and/or troubleshoot all software and/or hardware to assure optimum performance. Provide guidance on proper use of IT policies, standards, hardware and/or software to OCC users. Participate in the development of policies and procedures for assigned specialties. You will perform the full range of project management activities. Manage multiple projects or tasks through the systems development life cycle from project initiation, through requirements, design and development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and retirement, using a standard methodology.
To be successful in this role,
you must have experience in providing systems administration and other types of technical support to customers in a SAS grid or a distributed-computing environment utilizing IBM Platform LSF technology. You must also have experience in supporting customers using a wide variety of software tools to perform data analysis in a shared/distributed environment.
