Position Summary:
- Support Analytics/Testing/Modeling/Promotional and Advertising effectiveness efforts
- Develop methodologies and conduct sophisticated analysis
- Function as a resource for statistical applications/research techniques
- Data Mining across multiple data sources and provide information for decision-making
Essential Job Functions:
- Use data mining tools for analytical efforts in providing information for strategic decision making
- Conduct market basket analysis, media mix modeling, and product/display placement optimization
- Use of SAS for analytics and experience with predictive modeling
- Collect and analyze data in identifying market trends, channel strategies and consumer preferences
- Good business and presentation skills and ability to initiate and grow relationships globally
- Create, maintain and analyze database information used in the development of programs
- Conduct customer profiling, market segmentation, geographic analysis, competitor benchmarking, and customer acquisition projects using advanced statistical modeling and analytical techniques
- Mapping, Business Intelligence or other capabilities for implementing data visualization
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics or related area
- 4-8 years analytics/modeling work experience using SAS.
- Masters or graduate degree preferred.
- Successful candidate will be highly motivated with a steep learning curve and a desire to succeed.
