This Strategic Revenue Management Analytics role is for someone who is curious and energized by analytical challenges, has strong analytics skills and mindset, and believes in the power of data to transform the performance of brands and businesses. You will be hands on, action oriented, and accountable as we build out a best in class global Revenue Management capability that helps drives the performance of General Mills now and into the future.

  • Responsible for building and driving pricing analytics analyses, tools and visualization for Strategic Revenue Management (SRM) team – the engine room for pricing decisions for the nearly $12B North America businesses (26 categories and 1000s of products) and $4B+ global businesses representing key markets across Europe, Asia and South America

  • Synthesize and analyze multiple data sources to conduct both basic (baseline/lift, price elasticity, ROI) and advanced analytics (regression, forecasting, predictive modelling and beyond) to bring GMI brands premier CPG Revenue Management practices
  • Partner across Finance, Sales, Brand Marketing & IT to develop pricing strategies and tools to:
  1. Predict & evaluate impact of past/present/future actions
  2. Deploy analytic capabilities across Revenue Management arsenal including price, pack size, competitive strategy and promotion spend
  3. Identify and build scalable scenario, reporting and visualization tools that enable GMI teams to conduct self-serve opportunity identification
  • Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative field, advanced degree preferred, Masters / PhD in data science, statistics, or other related field a strong plus

  • 3+ years experience in Revenue Management, or advanced sales / marketing analytics, preferably in consumer package goods and / or retail
  • Previous Revenue Management experience a strong plus – with CPG experience highly valued. Ideal candidate will have both consumer pricing and trade analytics expertise. Experience with sales and/or marketing analytics also valuable.
  • Prior experience working with syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI, SPINS) or shopper card data a strong plus
  • Experience with analytic tools from basic (Excel) to advanced (R, Python, SAS, etc.) and databases (Access, Oracle, SQL).
  • Exposure to data manipulation & visualization packages (Tableau, Qlik, Alteryx, Spotfire, etc.). Machine learning experience a plus, but not required.
