AdCenter Labs is seeking talented computer scientists to help us achieve the mission of providing enabling technologies to Microsoft’s on-line advertising business. As part of the Microsoft adCenter’s think tank, you will collaborate with researchers, developers, program managers, product planners, and others to solve some of the most challenging problems in effectively connecting buyers and sellers in the online world. In this position you will help the research and development of discovering, processing, and maintaining commercial information in the online world, at Web scale. AdCenter Labs provides a startup-like environment that fosters innovative thinking and the resource support of the world’s largest software company.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Passionate about enhancing the user’s online commercial experience
  • Strong research background in managing data on the web, dealing with structured and unstructured data
  • A hands-on experimenter with solid programming/system building skills and bias for action
  • A superior communicator
Qualifications:
  • Masters of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields is required.
  • A PhD degree with specializations in web-scale data management, information extraction and retrieval, semantic web, cloud computing, electronic commerce, and artificial Intelligence, are preferred.
  • Interests/experiences across several of the above areas are especially preferred.
